Theweekend also saw extensive Restart
Rugby coverage throughoutmatch day
programmes, each home venue and a
tremendous response from rugby fans across the
country to the #RestartRugbyWeekend social
media campaign.

RugbyWeekend is a terrific initiativewhich aims
to raise awareness and funds to enhance the
vital role the charity plays in supporting past
and present players and their families in times of
need.
Our players give their all for team, club and
country, but their lives can change in a split
second: a bad tackle, collapsed scrum, serious
concussion, an accident or illness off the pitch.
When this happens Restart Rugby is there to
support players and their familieswith financial,
practical and emotional support, including
helpwithmedical treatment, rehabilitation,
counselling, education and career transition.
After a tremendous 2014/15 Restart Rugby
Weekend, we are delighted to announce the
initiativewill return bigger and better in season
2015/16with Round 20 of theAviva Premiership
(16-17April) dedicated to the charity.
