As a resident, youwill be issuedwitha
ontainedwithin thisbooklet.
Thiswill entitle you to occupy a room for one residential year, as stated in your offer
and acceptance letter, includingChristmas andEaster vacations. (Rooms shouldbe
vacatedby 10.00amon the last day of your licence.)
Residential fees are charged for thewhole residential year and youwill be issuedwith
an invoice that is payable each term. This covers Term 1 and theChristmas vacation;
Term 2 and theEaster vacation; Term 3 until the last day of your licence period. (This is
inclusive of utility charges).
Once you have received your invoice, you shouldmake your payment at the The
Student VillageReception or AstonUniversity Finance. (Note, youwill be responsible for
residence fees from the date shown on your OnlineBookingsDetails page - if you fail to
pay by the due date, thismay result inUniversity sanctions being applied.)

If youhave financial difficulties in relation topaying your

immediately.
Should any additional fees be payable, due to the
unauthorised use of a room or damage toproperty,
theywill be the responsibility of the personwhowas
allocated the room.
Under exceptional circumstances, youmaybe required
tomove toanother room, although every endeavour will
bemade to ensure you remain in your allocated room.
If youwithdraw from study. Please inform theResidence
Officer for your Building. Youwill need a letter from the
Faculty confirming that you are leaving, whichmust be
handed in at TheStudent VillageReception before you
vacate your room (see

Once you have returned the keys/swipe card and
they have checked your room for damage, the £250
deposit should automatically be returned to you, subject
