KeyAchievements
inYear 2015/16:
z
Amajor project was the upgradingof the
radio system for CityNet andNightSafe from an
analogue todigital system. Thiswas launched in
September 2015 and has resulted in a growth in the
number of businesses using the radios. The rental costs to
businesses have alsobeen reduced tobeing one of the cheapest schemes
in theWestMidlands to just £12permonth for CityNet users and £10 for
NightSafemembers.
‘TheCityNet radio is a
reassuring presence
for me andmy staff.
The fact that there are
somanymembers
and it links through to
the Police, CCTV and
CrownGate’s security
team helps tomake
Worcester a very safe
city centre.’
